The Benefits of CIPP Lining

Cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) lining restores old, broken, or corroded pipes to a “like new” condition without the need to remove or replace them. NuDrain, NuFlow’s leading structural CIPP lining technology, enhances the structural strength of the host pipe and acts as a stand-alone “pipe within a pipe.” CIPP lining solutions are non-destructive, eco-friendly, non-invasive, cost-effective, and can be installed in a fraction of the time as pipe replacement. Typically used in drain systems, including sewer, stormwater, and the roof drain, NuDrain CIPP lining can be installed in pipelines with diameters less than 2 inches to over 12 inches in diameter.

NuDrain CIPP Lining provides:

  • Full System Rehabilitation
  • Usage on Vertical Stacks and Lateral Connections
  • Installation can be launched upstream or downstream
  • Ability to launch from any existing access point – clean-out, water closet, vent
  • Push or Pull from any manhole, two-way clean-out, or directional clean-out

NuFlow’s CIPP lining

Using access points, such as cleanouts and manholes, that already exist in the plumbing system, the CIPP lining process doesn’t require excavation or major destruction to the property. NuFlow’s CIPP lining gives the contractor full control of the process, allowing installation in junctions, bends, and horizontal and vertical pipes in one complete application. It can be installed in pipes with multiple bends, elbows, branches, and changes in pipe diameter. And CIPP lining installers can start and stop at any point within the pipe to give greater flexibility with sectional lining.

The CIPP lining process translates to less mess and minimal disruption for the customer, and projects can often be carried out and completed within a day. The CIPP lining method is also more cost-effective because it eliminates the need for a large workforce of plumbers or a lot of bulky and expensive machinery. Plus, since there’s no need to open walls or dig up any landscaping, it requires little or no reconstruction costs, making it even more affordable for the customer.

CIPP lining structurally repairs drainage pipes with strength superior to un-lined pipes. The thin epoxy liner installed to the interior of the pipe seals and protects the sewer system from further deterioration, dramatically extending the life of the piping system. The lined pipe is so tough that it can prevent infiltration by tree roots and provides a steadier and smoother flow of water. The CIPP lining process is not only beneficial for the customer, but it is often a highly profitable tool for a plumbing contractor to add to their list of services.

NuFlow’s patented pull-in-place CIPP lining assemblies are ideal for intricate, small-diameter in-building pipe systems. Other CIPP lining techniques must avoid violating these patents, resulting in sub-standard approaches that may fail to navigate bends, leave gaps between the host pipe and the liner, or end with a straight-up liner failure. With NuFlow’s CIPP lining technology, you can tackle high-margin lining jobs with confidence.
